SHARON Osbourne has sparked concern over her gaunt appearance after being spotted out and about in LA.
It’s after former X Factor judge Sharon, 72, revealed weight loss jab Ozempic is stopping her from gaining weight.
The TV personality, who lost 42 pounds with the help of Type 2 diabetes drug, previously revealed she “didn’t actually want to go this thin”.
Her frail look has raised concern yet again after she stepped out in Los Angeles for a shopping trip with daughter Aimee, 41.
Sharon donned some beige trousers and a white button-down shirt and accessorized her look with jewelry.
With a pair of sunglasses on, and a handbag in the crook of her arm, Sharon looked focused as she dashed about carrying a big bag from clothes store Jacquemus.
But the TV star’s face looked slimmer than ever, with her jawline incredibly pronounced.
Just one day before, Sharon was spotted again in LA as she carried a shopping bag on her shoulder.
She could be seen wearing a white sweatshirt, matching trousers, and two tone flats.
This time, she ditched makeup and went totally fresh-faced.
Looking slightly hollow-eyed, Sharon’s complexion looked pale and her expression downcast.
Speaking out about her weight loss and Ozempic use last year, Sharon got candid about the drug’s side effects.
Chatting with Howie Mandel, she said in April 2024: “It’s not a sin to use Ozempic if you have a weight problem, so why not talk about it?”
Howie then asked if the weight loss drug was a positive experience for her.
“Yes and no,” Sharon replied.
She added: “I can’t put on weight now, and I don’t know what it’s done to my metabolism, but I just can’t seem to put any on, because I think I went too far.”
Then, a couple of months later in August, Sharon explained why she decided to take Ozempic.
Speaking on Bill Maher’s Club Random podcast, she got candid about having a “weight problem” and having tried “everything” in the past.
“You have a weight problem, and you’ve tried everything, and then somebody says, ‘Take this injection and you’re going to be skinny’.”
She then spoke about the side effects yet again when she said: “You’re not hungry, but for me—it’s different for everybody—but for me, the first few weeks were f**king sh*t because you just throw up all the time and feel so nauseous.
“After a couple of weeks, it goes, and you’re just fine.
“You feel fine, just not hungry.”
And earlier this year, in February, the star told The Guardian she had lost “three stone [42 pounds] in four months.
“Too much.”
She also recently told the Daily Mail that she cannot gain weight and has not since taking the drug.
Expressing her frustration, she told the outlet: “Now, I weigh just over 7st. I need to put on 10lb, but however much I eat, I stay the same weight.”
She added: “I’ve had enough. I’ve given up on all interventions. I couldn’t have much more facial surgery — there’s not that much skin left to stretch, pull or cut. And I won’t have any more fillers or Botox.
“I don’t think I’ll ever be happy with the way I look.
“But I’m now satisfied. It’s taken years for me to say this but I’ve learned my lesson.
“This is me. It’s finally time to leave well alone.”
