Law&Crime creates exclusive ‘video’ recreation of Diddy trial powered by AI

Law&Crime, the premier legal and true crime media company, announces it will release AI-generated recreations of the federal trial of Sean “Diddy” Combs, offering the most comprehensive media coverage of the high-profile case to date.

With cameras prohibited in all federal trials, beginning with opening statements on May 12, Law&Crime will release visual representations of the trial proceedings using actual court transcripts. These AI-generated segments will depict the exact words spoken by key witnesses, investigators, and legal figures, ensuring viewers get a factual, real-time understanding of what’s unfolding in the courtroom.

The music mogul and entrepreneur faces federal charges, including sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy, tied to an alleged criminal enterprise.

The case, which has captivated the public and dominated social media discourse, stems from the allegations of multiple accusers who claim Combs used his celebrity status to exploit and abuse women (and men) for decades.

Among the most anticipated moments in the trial is expected testimony from former partners and close associates of Combs, including Casandra Ventura, better known under her stage name Cassie, whose detailed allegations helped spark a wave of public scrutiny and ultimately led to Combs’ arrest in September 2024. Combs now faces a potential minimum sentence of 15 years in prison if convicted.

“Since the public can’t see or hear what’s happening in federal court firsthand, we’re using cutting-edge AI tools to bring these important proceedings to life, based entirely on official transcripts,” said Law&Crime President Rachel Stockman. “This is a pivotal moment in both popular culture and justice, and our goal is to provide accurate, transparent access to what’s actually being said in that courtroom.”

The recreated testimony and trial highlights will be available on Law&Crime’s YouTube channel, with new segments published as court proceedings unfold.

Also coming soon from Law&Crime Productions: The Rise & Fall of Diddy, the second installment of the network’s investigative podcast series that will be available exclusively on Wondery+ starting June 10.
