Accused Texas Sexual Predator Wanted After Breaking Into Women’s Apartments, Committing 2 Assaults in 2 Days

Police in Texas are searching for an alleged sexual predator who has been linked to two assaults in two days.

WFAA reported that in Dallas, two women reported being assaulted by a suspect who described as a Latino male in his 20s, standing about 5 feet, 8 inches tall, weighing between 180 and 200 pounds. He was seen wearing a black ski mask, black pants, and black Nike shoes with a white swoosh logo at the time of both assaults, according to the police.

On Friday, near 9700 Dale Crest Drive, the suspect entered through a window of a woman’s apartment while she was asleep and assaulted her. Then, on Saturday, near the 8800 block of Fair Oaks Crossing, it is believed that the same man assaulted another woman in her apartment.

Two women near the area commented on the incidents.

“I definitely will be more on guard, more self-aware, and looking out for suspicious activity,” said Sunnie Green, a resident near the apartments where it occurred.

“You don’t really hear about that kind of stuff. You just worry about yourself and your life. It’s concerning for the kids because they usually come out and play outside,” said another resident, Vanessa Terrones.

Police and women’s support groups have warned the public to be aware of their surroundings and to report any suspicious activity.

Anyone with information regarding either offense should contact the Dallas Police Department’s Detective Carlos Cardenas at 214-671-3683, Carlos.Cardenas@dallaspolice.gov, or call 911.

“Crime Stoppers can be reached at 214-373-TIPS, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday,” Dallas Police Department posted on social media.
