Kris Jenner is worried that her daughter might decide to walk away from her family’s Hulu reality series, according to a new report.

Kris Jenner fears that her daughter Kim Kardashian might be ready to move on from her family’s TV show.

The legendary momager and her daughters – including Kim – are currently starring in The Kardashians on Hulu. But after nearly two decades in the reality TV spotlight, Kim is reportedly getting restless, and Kris is anxious to keep her daughter in the fold.

Kris Jenner is ‘begging’ Kim Kardashian to keep filming

“Kris goes back and forth between begging Kim and trying to scare her,” an insider told In Touch of Kris’ worries about The Kardashians’ future. “She’s desperate to stop her from bowing out of the show, because she knows it would all fall apart without Kim.”

Kris and her five daughters – Kim, Khloé, and Kourtney Kardashian and Kendall and Kylie Jenner – have been television fixtures since Keeping Up With the Kardashians premiered in 2007. But the family’s patience with the demands of filming is wearing thin.

“No one in the family likes filming the show at this point, it’s a huge pain in the butt to have cameras around all the time and to be constantly trying to churn out content,” the source told the tabloid.

Kim and her sisters ‘need’ the attention they get from ‘The Kardashians’

If there’s one thing that might keep The Kardashians afloat, it’s the fact that the show is an important avenue for Kim and her siblings to promote their various business ventures.

“It’s been explained to them all by their business advisors that they need the show and the attention it brings to prop up all their other brands,” the insider noted.

“If they are no longer on TV, the big fear is that they’d lose their clout and with it a ton of followers and ultimately their earning power,” the insider added. “Kris loves to remind Kim of that anytime it sounds like she’s got a foot out the door. When that’s not working, she resorts to begging her and telling her that without her help, the whole family will lose what they’ve built!”

Kim’s business ventures include the shapewear brand Skims and the beauty brand Skkn by Kim. In February, she announced she was teaming up with Nike for a new line of apparel, footwear, and accessories for women: NikeSKIMS. Kylie founded Kylie Cosmetics, Khloé created the Good American denim line, Kourtney has the lifestyle website and brand Poosh, and Kendall has a spirits brand, 818 Tequila.

The Kardashians Season 6 premiered February 6 on Hulu, with the season finale dropping on April 10. So far, the streamer has not shared any official updates about the future of the show, which premiered in 2022. But in July 2024, it ordered an additional 20 episodes, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Season 6 only had 10 episodes, which suggests that a seventh season is on the horizon.

The Kardashians is streaming on Hulu.
