The US pair comfortably beat fellow music stars Rihanna and A$AP Rocky, who are worth half of that with £1billion.

The couple also have businesses including Jay’s own Cognac brand and Beyonce’s new hair care range.

Rihanna, 37, is the driving force behind her and A$AP Rocky’s fortune, with her lingerie and cosmetics brands.

Ellen DeGeneres, 67, and actress wife Portia de Rossi, 52, are third with a combined net worth of £424million, thanks to Ellen’s hit telly shows.
