Janelle Brown Has Cut Her Ties to Flagstaff, Arizona

Reality TV News

Janelle Brown has made a big move. She just announced that she’s emptied her last stoage unit in Flagstaff. She’s ready to call North Carolina home.

Janelle Brown is ready to move on from Flagstaff, Arizona. The Sister Wives star may have left her plural husband, Kody Brown, two years ago, but she still had a lot of loose strings tying her to Flagstaff, Arizona. The city is the scene of her marriage’s demise and holds plenty of bad memories for the Browns. Janelle has put in the work to cut her ties to the area. She just posted about a major milestone she completed.

Kody Brown’s second wife gets closer to saying goodbye to Flagstaff for good

Kody Brown’s second ex-wife, Janelle Brown, is ready to cut ties to Flagstaff completely. The mother of six moved from Arizona to North Carolina more than a year ago. Since then, she’s been busy getting her cut flower business up and running and planning to build a home in North Carolina. She seems excited for what’s to come on the East Coast.

While it’s been a busy year, Janelle isn’t neglecting what she still needs to do to close out the polygamy chapter of her life for good. The reality TV star recently took to Instagram to reveal that she had cleared out her final storage unit in Flagstaff. None of her belongings have been left behind.

While Janelle is eager to leave Flagstaff behind, she’s still connected to the city. Some of her children still call the area home. She hasn’t completely washed her hands of Coyote Pass, either. That step is expected to come soon.

Janelle Brown still owns part of Coyote Pass, though

While Janelle is no longer tied to the city by things or storage units, she does have one item that keeps her connected to the tourist city. Janelle still owns property in Flagstaff. Janelle and Kody’s other ex-wife, Meri Brown, remains attached to the Coyote Pass property the Browns bought ahead of their 2018 move. Still, moves are being made. Their shares are far more equitable now.

According to recent reports, the Brown family just redistributed property ownership, giving Janelle and Meri their fair share. They now own 25% each. Kody and Robyn Brown own the other 50%. While Sister Wives viewers largely assumed Janelle and Meri would sell off their land before allowing it to be redistributed, this was likely a necessary legal step in their efforts to leave the state behind. When the property will go up for sale, or if Kody will simply buy his ex-partners out of their portion of the acreage, is anyone’s guess.

Part 2 of Sister Wives season 19 is set to premiere on April 20. Answers about Coyote Pass probably won’t be included in upcoming episodes, though.
