His 21-year-old son had two gunshot wounds to his stomach, while another 23-year-old son had minor cuts.

It’s understood the incident was sparked after the dad told his upstairs neighbours to be quiet.

Footage appears to show the moment police suspect 30-year-old Mitchell Barnes allegedly fired a warning shot from the back deck, sparking the violent altercation.

The gunman allegedly fled in a white Mazda hatchback before jumping into a black Toyota Camry with NSW number plates.

The forensics team found a revolver and towed a motorcycle from the unit complex.

Detective Inspector Mark Mooney said a knife was also involved.
