Duffy is known for her Grammy Award winning album Rockferry, which was released in 2008.
After disappearing from the spotlight, the Warwick Avenue hitmaker left social media users thrilled when she appeared in a new TikTok.
Duffy was seen lip-syncing to her signature track Mercy in a video shared by Emotion HQ.
They wrote: “Some of you asked if Duffy was really doing a UK Garage remix with us…”
Rushing to comment, one fan wrote: “Duffy! Where have you been?!”
Another said: “So good to see her face.”
And a third added: “Great to see Duffy back what a tremendous singer she is.”
After enjoying huge international success with her music, fans were left baffled when Duffy largely disappeared.
But in 2020 she revealed the reason why, telling her supporters: “Many of you wonder what happened to me, where did I disappear to and why.
“A journalist contacted me, he found a way to reach me and I told him everything this past summer.
“He was kind and it felt so amazing to finally speak.
“The truth is, and please trust me I am ok and safe now, I was raped and drugged and held captive over some days.
“Of course I survived. The recovery took time. There’s no light way to say it.
“But I can tell you in the last decade, the thousands and thousands of days I committed to wanting to feel the sunshine in my heart again, the sun does now shine.”
