Kanye “Ye” West put Kim Kardashian on blast in March 2025. The couple tied the knot in 2014 and finalized their divorce in 2022. Together, they have four kids: North, 11, Saint, 9, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 5. While West and Kardashian disagree on their lifestyle choices, Kardashian has always ensured that their kids get to spend time with their father, even allowing them to visit West in Tokyo in early 2025.
Unfortunately, West and Kardashian are now feuding. West’s erratic behavior caught the attention of the media following his and Bianca Censori’s Grammy Awards red carpet stunt. He then took to X to spread antisemitic messaging and promote the sale of swastika T-shirts. In March 2025, he called out Kardashian for trying to remove a track he posted that contained North and Sean “Diddy” Combs.
“Kim has never wanted to stop her children seeing their father,” an insider told DailyMail.com. “She thinks it is important that he is in their lives, as she was close to her own father before he died when she was just 23. But Kim is fearful that if she goes into full-blown war with Kanye and reopens the custody issue, he will make her life a living hell and weaponize the children against her.”
Currently, Kardashian and West have joint custody of their kids. Another source told the publication that Kardashian feels “heartbroken” over her daughter having any connection to Combs. “Kim is disgusted her daughter appears on Kanye’s new song that also features Diddy,” they alleged. “This is disastrous. To be linked in any way with Diddy is both heartbreaking and unforgivable.”
So, will West’s latest move get Kardashian to file for full custody? An alleged friend of Kardashian’s said it’s not so simple. “Kim will never go for full custody,” the friend said. “Why? Because Kanye never had an NDA with Kim. He was her husband. No one knows Kim and her family better than Kanye, and she worries about what he could make public from their private lives.”

Kanye “Ye” West continues to post on X regarding Kim Kardashian and their children. On March 19, 2025, he tweeted that he plans to go for “full custody.”
“ITS TIME NOW THEY REALLY HAVE TO KILL ME [sic],” he wrote. “AS A FATHER I WILL NO LONGER DISTRACT MYSELF FROM MY RESPONSIBILITY TO TRULY AND ACTUALLY PROTECT MY ACTUAL CHILDREN ITS TIME GO AND GET FULL CUSTODY WHICH WILL ME TAKING THEM OUT OF THE HANDS OF DISNEY SIERRA CANYON PAWN CELEBRITY PARENTS AND THE KARDASHIAN KLAN AND MAMA KRISS WHO SIGNED FOR THE SEX TAPE [sic].”
“IM NOT THE CRAZY ONE HERE IM THEY FATHER IM CONTROLLING WHAT THEY WATCH WHAT THEY WEAR AND WHERE TO GO TO SCHOOL [sic],” he continued.
Kim Kardashian prioritizes ‘the well-being and safety of her children,’ a source says
Kim Kardashian likely didn’t want to come to blows with Kanye “Ye” West over their children. However, she continues to take a stand. She recently cut a visit between North and her father short after learning that Andrew Tate and his brother, Tristan Tate, would be there. The Tate brothers face rape and human trafficking charges. Kardashian reportedly doesn’t want her children anywhere near them.
“Kim’s priority is the well-being and safety of her children and to protect them from being around Kanye’s controversial behavior,” an insider told Page Six.
