Police are asking in particular for anybody with CCTV or dashcam footage showing a vehicle towing a horse trailer in the Axedale, Heathcote, Strathfieldsaye, or Bendigo areas on Monday night or Tuesday morning.

Leading Senior Constable Dan O’Bree urged anybody with information to come forward.

“This is a case that’s caused a lot of pain to a number of vulnerable young children,” he said.

“Rosie means an awful lot to these kids and we want nothing more than to see her returned unharmed.”

Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or online.
