Randy Orton reacts to fan’s bold challenge against his 2009 self

WWE veteran Randy Orton had a hilarious reaction to a fan who claimed he would fight the 2009 version of Orton just to get a woman’s phone number.

Orton, one of the most decorated superstars in WWE history, built his legacy by defeating some of the biggest names in the business.

These include Triple H, John Cena and The Undertaker. While he remains a dangerous competitor today, his late 2000s persona was among the most feared in WWE, known for punting opponents and feuding with top stars.

A fan on X (formerly Twitter) expressed his willingness to take on that ruthless version of Orton in pursuit of a woman’s number.

The comment caught The Viper’s attention, prompting him to respond: “Bro really willing to risk it all for you.”

During his 2009 run, Orton led Legacy alongside Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase, dominating the WWE title picture and engaging in brutal rivalries with John Cena, Triple H, and the McMahon family.

This period cemented his reputation as one of WWE’s top heels.

Now a veteran, Orton remains a formidable force in WWE. He is currently feuding with Kevin Owens, with rumours suggesting a potential WrestleMania 41 showdown.

Given the fan’s bold statement, many are wondering if The Viper will unleash his 2009 persona once again in the ring.
