The Sony World Photography Awards have revealed the finalists and shortlisted photographers in its 2025 professional competition.

Among them are photographs from far-flung destinations and war-torn nations, showcasing the untold beauty of the world through portraits, architecture, nature and movement.

The winner, which is announced on April 16 in London, receives a $25,000 cash prize.
