Rachel Zoe and Rodger Berman’s eldest son, Skyler, was hospitalized after suffering a “badly lacerated kidney” in an e-bike accident.
“For any parent deciding if they should get a f–king E-BIKE for their child DO NOT,” the fashion designer captioned a photo of the 13-year-old in the hospital via her Instagram Story Saturday.
“I DID NOT and I am a hard no but Sky was on one and been in ER for 9 hours.. whoever is being begged by a child to get one HARD NO.”
Zoe went on to share that Skyler had a “badly lacerated kidney” and was in “a ton of pain.”
According to Zoe, the teen was “unable to laugh or sneeze” due to his injuries.
“100 tests later we are still here and I know how much worse this could have been BUT to all the parents about to cave on the E-BIKE do not,” she continued.
“Sky will not be on one for as long as I have a say in his life. HARD NO,” the “Fashionably Late” alum doubled down.
“Also thank you to the best doctors and nurses that do this miracle work 24:7 you are the heroes,” the mom of two added.
Zoe, 53, shares Skyler and 11-year-old son Kaius with her estranged husband, Rodger Berman.
She announced in September 2024 that she and Berman had decided to end their marriage after 26 years.
“After 33 years together and 26 years married, Rodger and I have come to the mutual decision to end our marriage,” Zoe wrote in the statement at the time.
“We are incredibly proud of the loving family we have created and our countless memories together. Our number one priority has been and will always be our children.”
The “Living in Style” author emphasized that she and her ex are “committed” to co-parenting their sons and plan to continue to work together in their shared businesses.
Hours after announcing the split, Zoe ditched her wedding ring while attending the launch event for Jeremiah Brent’s Crate & Kids collaboration.
Meanwhile, the style entrepreneur recently gushed over sons Skyler and Kaius in a heartfelt Instagram tribute for Valentine’s Day.
“My forever Valentines and loves of my life that fill my heart the most ❤️ I am so very grateful,” Zoe captioned a carousel of images with her boys.
