Missing Realtor’s Disappearance Is Now Considered an Abduction; 5 Suspects Sought

Alabama police said they believe a man who vanished in December was abducted and have named five suspects in his disappearance.

In a statement issued to AL.com, Huntsville police said Ronald Dumas Jr.’s case has shifted from a missing person case to an “active abduction” case. The release mentioned new critical information regarding two women who were seen with Dumas, 37, before his disappearance.

Dumas was filmed leaving a liquor store with two women on December 15. Huntsville police said they traced the women to their apartment, though they did not disclose specifics about the information they provided and how it is relevant to Dumas’ disappearance.

Various police departments reportedly conducted a search on Thursday which involved crime scene personnel, drone operators, and dogs.

“With assistance from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), a credible lead identifying a 450-acre area south of Memphis, TN, and extending into northern Mississippi, as a potential location for Dumas,” Huntsville police said.

Police are looking for Quintarius White, 32; Toure McLaurin, 33; Sabrina Chambers, 27; Kierra Clark, 27;  and Carissa Cash, 33. The five suspects are wanted for various charges, including first-degree kidnapping, conspiracy to commit kidnapping, and receiving stolen property.

A $10,000 reward is being offered for information in this case. Anyone with information regarding Dumas’ whereabouts is asked to call investigator Stephen Gibbs at 256-427-5448.
